About Me

Elizabeth Van Nostrand

I’m Elizabeth Van Nostrand, writer of AcesoUnderGlass.com, and I’m easy to nerdsnipe. This blog is a testament to things I find interesting in ways I’m willing to attach my real name to. Mostly that’s intellectual research and modeling, but sometimes it’s products for handling cat vomit.

Previous major projects include Epistemic Spot Checks, which turned into Knowledge Bootstrapping, which I’ve since let go of. I don’t currently have any public facing long-term hobby projects, it’s all just whatever I’m on about this week.

My day job is freelance research- anything from scientific literature reviews to Twitter stalking potential investors. Before this, I was a software engineer first at a few FAANG companies and later at start ups. Before that I studied computer science and computational biology at Cornell University.
